Background

I came from the UK in 1994 at 24, having been a shoe sales girl & Natwest banker.

In NZ started work in a HR office as receptionist, then a Sales & Marketing administrator then onto being a PA. Following the birth of my daughter in 2003 and a desire for more family friendly hours my keen interest as an amateur photographer became a career.

After training at Unitec, I joined the NZIPP (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography) as an avenue to hone specific skills and learn from the best in the business. Over a period of 4 years through continuous professional development, I was able to attain my Masters in Photography, winning awards for prints you can see in my awards gallery. I was a member of the NZIPP for over 10 years.

On the personal front
I’m a member of Red Beach Surf Life Saving Club – a lifeguard, an IRB crewman and a surf canoe competitor.

I’m a regular at my local gym and a regular social butterfly.
